The YP-41 is a hydraulic nut splitter used to remove seized, corroded or damaged nuts on transmission towers and substation equipment. It applies a 160KN controlled splitting force to crack the nut off the stud, so the bolt thread is left intact and reusable instead of being cut away. The compact 250mm body and non-conductive fiberglass handles suit maintenance work in tight tower and switchyard positions.
