III. Why to use this device

During the testing, testing oil termination for HV (110kV and above) cables requires more conditions in that the testing application principle is to strengthen the insulation level of test objects and improve the breakdown field strength. For 110 kV and above cross-linking cable test, however, only improving field strength is far from enough to meet test requirements. Water termination is further needed in the test for uniforming electric field distribution. That’s why CTS - Series Water Termination System is developed .

The high voltage cable termination equipments of the test system are developed to reliably test the solid medium coaxial high voltage cable under no corona condition.

The cable termination equipment can meet to test short cables or longer cables . It only takes about 15 minutes to install and connect the termination system with test cables.
