Ratchet Wire Tightener for Precise Conductor Tensioning on Power Line Work

The ratchet wire tightener pulls and holds tension on a conductor or wire during stringing, using a ratchet lever so the operator can take up load in small, controlled steps rather than in one movement. Three models cover rated loads from 10KN to 30KN, with tight-line lengths from 1200mm to 1500mm, which suits overhead line stringing, substation work and temporary wire securing.

Design and Operation

Ratchet mechanism: incremental tension take-up with positive locking at the chosen tension.
Forged steel gears and reinforced frame: built for repeated pulling under load.
Non-marring jaws with rounded edges: reduce marking on the conductor.
Quick release: fast wire changes between pulls.
