Insulated Tightener for Live Line Tensioning and Electrical Maintenance Work

The insulated tightener is a live line tool for taking up tension on a conductor or strap during electrical maintenance. It uses a non-conductive body and an insulated webbing strap so the working parts stay clear of the operator, and it adjusts without extra tools. Three models cover rated lifting and pulling of 10KN to 20KN, with a working length from 410mm to 1400mm.

Design and Operation

Insulated, non-conductive body for live line work, used within your local voltage rating and work procedure.
Insulated webbing strap (5-6mm x 2300mm) for conductor and strap tensioning.
Positive locking mechanism to hold tension once it is set.
Non-marring contact surfaces to protect the conductor during use.
