Product Description
Cable Reel Rotator Platform for Smooth Drum Rotation and Cable Pay Out
The Cable Reel Rotator Platform turns a cable drum on rollers so the cable pays out smoothly instead of being dragged off the side of the reel. It is used in power, communication and industrial cable-laying work where a drum has to be rotated at ground level. Three models cover drum diameters from 500mm to 2500mm and drum weights up to 1500kg, and each unit separates into a turntable, rollers, roller axles and locking fixtures for easy transport.
How It Works and Where It Helps
  • Roller turntable: the drum rests on rollers so it turns with minimal effort.
  • Adjustable roller base: set the roller spacing to the drum diameter and lock it on the slope.
  • Drum lock: release the locking roller to turn the drum, then lock it again to hold position.
  • Low working height: the drum stays at ground level, which suits tight trenches and manholes.
  • Modular parts: turntable, rollers, axles and lock fixtures separate for transport and storage.
  • Robust construction: a steel turntable and rollers stand up to repeated site use.
Using Method
  1. Mount the two roller bases according to the drum diameter.
  2. Lock the rollers on the slope.
  3. Adjust the roller base to match the drum diameter.
  4. Slope the drum rim up onto the turntable along its slants.
  5. Release the locking roller, and the drum can be turned.
